Coming to HSN

Crafter's Companion is coming to HSN on March and there are going to be so many fun products.  Today, I have to share one of my faves, these cut AND emboss folders.

I mean, an embossing folder that can both cut and emboss, these are fabulous.  There are gonna be two bundles up on HSN and I am sharing some creations using the Romance Collection, specifically the Heart Confetti Folder.

For this creation I used a series of distress inks.  Blue and green outside and a raspberry pink inside.  Through the window you can see the sentiment stamp inside.  I also used the little flower and leaf die and pearl from CC.

I love how this folder has little peek-a-boo cut outs, it makes is so fun.

Thanks for visiting today and I hope you enjoy this post!

Punxsutawny Phil

Hopefully you don't think it is too soon for spring flowers?  I don't.  Though,
I realize Punxsutawny Phil (the groundhog) saw his shadow, meaning 6 more weeks of winter...but I am not buying it!  Sorry Phil!  Meanwhile, it did snow hear 2X in the last week…. grumble.

This card is a fun creation using a Crafter’s Companion digital Stamp.  I colored it using my Spectrum Noir markers.  One thing I notice in using my SN markers is that I tend to start with the dark colors and then add light, where as with other markers I might start light and add dark, eventually ending with light again to blend, but dark to light saves me a step.  The simple frame is cut using a PTI shaker kit frame and some SU! DP.  The sentiment is also from Crafter’s Companion set.

You are AWESOME!

I feel pretty lucky to have a lot of people in my life who inspire me in different ways.  They are all different kinds of superhero's to me and so this card goes out to all you inspiring ladies in my life.

This card centers around the Craftin' Desert Diva's image that is so darn cute!  I colored her to look just like kitty Wonder Woman.  I created the background by using a Gina Marie background plate and coloring it with distress ink.  I used post-it notes to block out the beam of light that is shining on wonder kitty and colored that bit yellow.  Once I had the background and main image, I used a Saavy die cut of the Seattle skyline, I cut it in gray and black to add a shadow effect.  The sentiment is from Altenew.

GOOD MORNING! Did you know Graciellie Design and Coffee Loving Cardmakers are teaming up for a super fun blog hop?! If you didn't you do now and soooo glad you are joining us for the fun!

You should have arrived here from Laurel Seabrook's blog (um, isn't her creation awesome?!). If you are just randomly stopping by then you can go back to the beginning at the Graciellie Design blog.

Graciellie will be offering two $10 Gift Cards to the shop! Please leave a comment for a chance to win! Each winner will be selected randomly. Winners will be announced on February 17th.

I am your last stop on the hop and I hope my creation doesn't disappoint...

The star of the show here is Graciellie's image, LOVE!  I colored this amazing digi with my Copics. That purple and pink together are dreamy.  I used a Gina Marie scalloped rectangles behind the image.  The DP with the ombre effect is fun with both the image and the purple CS.  You may have noticed I sprinkled in some sequins and gold thread.  That cup, that flower.... SWOON!  And the sentiments are awesome too!

Well I hope you have enjoyed this hop as much as me and THANK YOU for your visit!

Wander

Those of you that know me know I have a secret love for Bigfoot and Yeti.  It is simply the chance that they exist that excites me and remind me that anything is possible.  It ignites my inner child and my sense of wonder and reminds me to wander.  So, with so many Bigfoot and Yeti stamps coming out…  I am in paradise.  Which brings us to today….

This cute little display was super simple to make.  I used Crafter’s Companion linen for the background.  I added some cardboard to the back to make it stable enough to stand upright, though the linen is pretty sturdy and might have stood alone.  On top of which is a layer of super fun designer paper from Doodlebug Designs Inc.  Next I added a fun journal card, which pretty much speaks for itself and how I feel above.  I added this sweet Bigfoot Image from Kindred Spirits stamps (thank you hubby for getting it for me for Christmas!).  He is soooo sweet and was a pleasure to color.  And I topped it off with some wood dots from MME.  The textures and colors remind me of nature, even when I am indoors at my desk.  At that is where I plan to keep this, on my desk as a reminder of so many wonderful things.

I hope you like this sweet little guy.

Pure Innocence

I have a little Pure Innocence valentine for you today.  I couldn't resist making it with this sweet girl.  Of course. I made it using the last MFT sketch, too bad I missed it.

This sweet girl is colored using my Copics.  The ring is cut using more than one circle with SugarPea stiched circle die.   These fun hearts I picked up at Impress.  They look just like red hots, so amazingly fun.  I used another MFT set for the sentiment.
