Sketch Saturday #483

Hi Friends!  Are you ready for another fun Sketch Saturday?!  This week for sketch #483 you can use whatever sketch you like from 215 to 482, so fun right!  I've chosen to go back just a few weeks and play using #479.

Of course I didn't follow the sketch exactly, but then I always like to have  a little creative freedom, wink!  Here is my creation:

I just love the brightness of this card.  It makes me happy to look at it.  I used some Doodlebug Designs Papers and the stamps are from Clearly Besotted Stamps.  A little pink twine makes this so fun and so girly.  This is perfect for some cutie in your life.

Hope you will head on over to Sketch Saturday and join us!

Hugs,

Belated Birthday Shout Out

Hey there!  Wanted to pop in today to give a belated birthday shout out to my friend Tonya.  You may know her as the owner of The Heart Desires Store

Here is the birthday card I've made for her.

Created this card using the MFT sloth set.  I colored it with my Copics and used my Scan n' Cut to cut it out.  I put it on the round circle backdrop from Sugarpea Designs.  The DP, is so bright and cheery and I cut it out using Gina Marie Scalloped Stitched Rectangles.

Happy Birthday Sweet Tonya!  Keep Laughing and having fun!  ...Sorry this card is late. Hugs!

Now go visit Tonya and wish her a happy birthday by buying something in her fabulous shop, everyone will win!  :)

Cute Christmas 2.0

In just 6 days Crafter's Companion will be on HSN with some AWESOME new products!  I can't wait for the big reveal.  I already shared one of my fave collections but today I am going to share more....

SQUEEE!!!  Isn't this reindeer the cutest EVER?!  I think so, darling and encapsulated in this snow globe it is even cuter!  The snow in the antlers is just perfect.

I picked up the globe at my local craft store.  It could hold water, but obviously that doesn't work well with paper, so I didn't add paper.  Instead I included styrofoam snow.  I used my embossing buddy on the inside to cut down the static.  I used some ribbon to dress it up and added a tag using the sentiments from the bundle.

What else can I say except join the party!  Check out Crafter's Companion  for details.

Thanks for the visit!

THD Mid Challenge Inspiration #16

Hey friends, welcome back to THD Mid Challenge inspiration.  As a reminder, here is our fabulous Mood Board!

Here is my creation for the mid challenge post.

This was so easy to make and is all die cuts!  I used Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid FallGina Marie Stitched Rectangle Die, and Gina Marie Pine Cone Die Set.  I tied my items together using some twine and done.  Super easy and super fun for fall.  Possibly a perfect Thanksgiving card to give to a friend.

Please head on over to THD to check out all the other amazing products!

Pumpkin Spice Season

Hi Friends!  I am back with one more card for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  I can't wait to share it with you because it is soooo cute!

Don't you just love those sweet images from Craftin' Desert Divas most recent release?!?!  Squee, they are so cute!  It was love at first sight!

After I colored them with my Copics I coupled them with this coffee cup from Penny Black that I got from the THD Store. The plaid paper is perfect for the cup and the leaves make the ideal backdrop.  I wanted to pull out the blue from the little overalls so I added that strip of teal with the sentiment.  And of course some leaf confetti and sequins just for fun.

I hope you enjoyed this post and are having fun with the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! Don't forget to also join the THD Challenge #16.

Sketch Saturday #481

Sketch Saturday is back again with another fun layout for you to play with!

This week we are sponsored by Sasayaki Glitter
and I am using the winter-flamingos.  Aren't they so cute!

They crack me up big time!  I enjoyed coloring them with my Copics and adding a little flair about them with MME enamel dots and a little edge punch.  Isn't this a fun non-traditional holiday card?!

I hope you'll come play with us at Sketch Saturday!

Breaking the seal

Hi!  Happy 103 days until Christmas!  I know, I know it is a long way away, but I have made a few  holiday cards and broken the seal, now I can't stop. So why not share a few holiday creations starting with some ornaments I made for the recent Crafter's Companion release on HSN.

I made these fun ornaments using the Diesire Elongated Bauble Dies.  I cut 9 out for each using a variety of matching holiday designer Paper.  I folded them down the middle with the side I wanted out in the middle.  Next I adhered two of the sides together from 1 & 2 together.  I did this repeatedly until all the sides were together with the exception of the last two.  Then I added string (with a gem in one) in the middle before adhering the last two together.  Then you have a perfect ornament.  We can do this lot of fun varieties of paper.

I hope you enjoyed this post and are getting in the mood for the holiday season!

THD Challenge 16

Happy September!   THD is back with some fun inspiration for you.  Check this bad boy out!

Isn't it gorgeous!  It has some perfect fall and back to school flair.  Speaking of back to school I made this little treat bag for my kiddo to take in her lunch box.  I can't believe today is the first day of 4th grade for my little bug!

The tag for this bag is made using the SugarPea Lantern Die as the base.  I used the SugarPea Nuts About You Stamp Set and colored it with my Copics.  I created he sentiments using a few Neat & Tangled sets, specifically Neat & Tangled Beach Day and Neat & Tangled My Favorite Nut.  It makes me happy and I hope it makes her happy to.

Hope you will join us for this month's challenge!

Thanks for your visit!

CC gorgeousness

I hope you were able to check out the most recent Crafter's Companion show on HSN.  It was so fabulous!  Admittedly my favorite products included all the watercolor products.  The Spectrum Noir Colorista Aqua bundle and stamps sets.  I mean WOW!  For example:

This particular card features stamps from the Just Breathe stamp set.  The blooms are so lovely.  I stamped them on watercolor paper. and used watercolor pens to color them.  The die is a Neat and Tangled Die and the sentiment is perfectly easy using the SN Colorista Vellum Toppers.   Here is a close up.

I mean I just can't get over how pretty these blooms are.  Isn't this a lovely sympathy card?

Head on over to CC's web page to check out all these fun products!
