THD Mid Challenge Inspiration #17

Have you joined us for this month's THD Challenge?  If not you should because the inspiration is just perfect!

Here is my card for mid challenge:

So cute right?  I love those little Lawn Fawn kids in costumes!  I made this card by using some distress inks in the background with Ranger Mini Blending Tool and a stencil.  I also used the distress to add the purple.  The DP is from Doodlebugs.  I stamped the cutie LF kids and colored them with my Copics.  If you look close you can see where I added a little shimmer with some Wink of Stella.  The final touch is the Doodlebug Matte Sprinkles.

Head on over to the THD blog and check out the creations, then hit the shop and busy yourself these fun supplies.

Thanks!

Baby Boy!

Hello Friends!  I have a card to share with you today that is beyond sweet! Here is a snapshot of the work in progress.

Isn't it the cutest?!  I love that Avery Elle kanga!  I colored that with my Specrtum Noir Markers. TN2, TN7, EB5.  I used my Studio Calico Baby die cut to complete the sentiment, while the hello stamp is also from Avery Elle.  The sweet background die with the oval was inked up with Pistachio distress oxide in.  The sequins add just the right amount of sparkle

I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you so much for visiting!

More Belated Birthday Wishes

I am behind on Birthday wishes again!  Sigh.  Good thing my friends are so kind that they will forgive me. :)

This one is for super sweet Lenae over at SugarGem.

This image is from Craftin' Dessert Divas and colored with the Copics.  I used some fall themed DP.  The main one is cut using my Avery Elle stitched rectangle.  I added the other layer over the top and placed them both on some Coral CS.  I had this fun chalkboard sentiment laying around, it is perfect to tell Lenae how lovely a friend she is.

Happy Birthday Lenae!  I hope it was wonderful!  Hugs!

THD Challenge #17

Happy October!  Are you getting in the mood for something Spooktacular?!  If not yet, this should help....

THD is here with another fabulous challenge.  Here is my take:

I created this with the vision of the Cat with the eye patch in mind.  So I whipped out my Paper Smooches Chubby Chums stamped and colored them.  I added some accessories, specifically the hand made eye patch for the kitty and the bloodshot eyes and ax from Neat and Tangled Lumber Jack Love for the cow.  I used an MFT Die for the sky and added some color using Distress inks and the Ranger Ink Mini  Blending Tool.  In between I added this spooky house die cut from Sugarpea Designs.

I hope you like my funny little twist on this silly scene.   I also hope you will come and join us for the challenge.  Head on over to THD to see the inspiration and where to link up!

Thanks for visiting!

Color Throwdown 462

Hey there, just stopping by to join in for the Color Throwdown Challenge 462.

Here is my creation for this challenge.

I love this DP and it has the perfect colors for this challenge.  It makes such a nice backdrop for this card.  I used stamps from Memory Box Love Grows Stamp Set.  I was able to add the perfect complimentary colors using my Copics.   A little tag makes a great backdrop for the gnomie.

I am also entering this into the Memory Box Challenge #28- Falling for Fall.

Sketch Saturday #483

Hi Friends!  Are you ready for another fun Sketch Saturday?!  This week for sketch #483 you can use whatever sketch you like from 215 to 482, so fun right!  I've chosen to go back just a few weeks and play using #479.

Of course I didn't follow the sketch exactly, but then I always like to have  a little creative freedom, wink!  Here is my creation:

I just love the brightness of this card.  It makes me happy to look at it.  I used some Doodlebug Designs Papers and the stamps are from Clearly Besotted Stamps.  A little pink twine makes this so fun and so girly.  This is perfect for some cutie in your life.

Hope you will head on over to Sketch Saturday and join us!

Hugs,

Hey there!  Wanted to pop in today to give a belated birthday shout out to my friend Tonya.  You may know her as the owner of The Heart Desires Store

Here is the birthday card I've made for her.

Created this card using the MFT sloth set.  I colored it with my Copics and used my Scan n' Cut to cut it out.  I put it on the round circle backdrop from Sugarpea Designs.  The DP, is so bright and cheery and I cut it out using Gina Marie Scalloped Stitched Rectangles.

Happy Birthday Sweet Tonya!  Keep Laughing and having fun!  ...Sorry this card is late. Hugs!

Now go visit Tonya and wish her a happy birthday by buying something in her fabulous shop, everyone will win!  :)

Cute Christmas 2.0

In just 6 days Crafter's Companion will be on HSN with some AWESOME new products!  I can't wait for the big reveal.  I already shared one of my fave collections but today I am going to share more....

SQUEEE!!!  Isn't this reindeer the cutest EVER?!  I think so, darling and encapsulated in this snow globe it is even cuter!  The snow in the antlers is just perfect.

I picked up the globe at my local craft store.  It could hold water, but obviously that doesn't work well with paper, so I didn't add paper.  Instead I included styrofoam snow.  I used my embossing buddy on the inside to cut down the static.  I used some ribbon to dress it up and added a tag using the sentiments from the bundle.

What else can I say except join the party!  Check out Crafter's Companion  for details.

Thanks for the visit!

THD Mid Challenge Inspiration #16

Hey friends, welcome back to THD Mid Challenge inspiration.  As a reminder, here is our fabulous Mood Board!

Here is my creation for the mid challenge post.

This was so easy to make and is all die cuts!  I used Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid FallGina Marie Stitched Rectangle Die, and Gina Marie Pine Cone Die Set.  I tied my items together using some twine and done.  Super easy and super fun for fall.  Possibly a perfect Thanksgiving card to give to a friend.

Please head on over to THD to check out all the other amazing products!

Pumpkin Spice Season

Hi Friends!  I am back with one more card for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  I can't wait to share it with you because it is soooo cute!

Don't you just love those sweet images from Craftin' Desert Divas most recent release?!?!  Squee, they are so cute!  It was love at first sight!

After I colored them with my Copics I coupled them with this coffee cup from Penny Black that I got from the THD Store. The plaid paper is perfect for the cup and the leaves make the ideal backdrop.  I wanted to pull out the blue from the little overalls so I added that strip of teal with the sentiment.  And of course some leaf confetti and sequins just for fun.

I hope you enjoyed this post and are having fun with the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! Don't forget to also join the THD Challenge #16.
