Sunday Stamps- Sweet Treats

What is better on a Sunday than a few sweet treats?  This photo will have your mouth watering for sure!

Isn't this yummy and fun?!

Sadly, I am on a diet and most of my tasty foods are on vacation from our house.  Well, I suppose that isn't entirely true, we still have some good meat and veggies, but they get boring after a while.  But it is my choice and I actively made it work on being healthier, so... enough whining and onto the card! ;)

Today's card features some fun stamps from Your Next Stamp set that is sooooo cute!  I love this sweet little espresso machine and the lovey cups!  They are colored with my Copics.  The CS is SU! and the DP is Heidi Swapp. Th bright pink and fun sequins are from Neat and Tangled. I got that little felt doily in a package from the dollar bin at my local craft store.

The ladies at Sunday Stamps pulled out all the stops for this one and we do hope you'll come join us!?!?!

TPD Wednesday- No Peeping!

Hi friends!  Happy TPD Wednesday!  I have a super cute and fun card to share with you today to get you in the mood for spring!

Check out this chickie!

Giggle, isn't she just the cutest!

I love the this set, For Peeps Sake.  I used DP for the body and colored and cut the feet and ears.  I used the banner from the Seed Packet set and I hand wrote the sentiment and thought I was being clever with the placement.  I used a combo of papers, some from Doodlebug, some from SU!  The border die is from PTI and the enamel dots are from MME.

You should head on over to the TPD blog today and see what they have going on.  It is bound to be fabulous!

BTW, I hope you were able to enter the Two Paper Divas Challenge.  It was such a fun sketch!

Fusion- Pretty In Pink

Hello!  It is Fusion Day today!  Won't you come join us for a fun challenge?

Here is the fabulous inspiration this week!

 SCRUMPTIOUS!

And here is my take on the challenge.

Pretty clean for me.  I used Altnew stamps by embossing them white and then coloring with my Copics and fussy cutting them out.

Please head on over the Fusion blog to see the amazing creations from the DT.

Happy Thursday!

TPD Tuesday- Bunny Cakes!

Who's ready for Hump Day?!  MEEEEE!  Almost there, one more day to go.

I have a fun card today using one of the brand new sets from Two Paper Divas.

Now admittedly when I saw this, I didn't realize the Bunny Topper was supposed to be a cupcake top to accompany the Large Cupcake set, I just thought it was a cute squishy bunny.   Now I just think Dur!  Once you lay it over cupcake bottom, there is no mistaking!

For this card, I stamped my topper on white and used Copics to color it in.  I paper pieced the cupcake bottom. I used some October Afternoon Paper for the backdrop on SU! Kraft and then I added this little strip of Doodlebug Designs bunny paper.  I added the sentiment from For Peeps Sake set. I distressed the edges and added a staple for a little roughness to balance out this cute. ;)

That's all today.  Thank you so much for visiting!

SSC120- I love you and coffee

Happy Sunday to you and Happy Valentines Day!  It seems like Christmas was yesterday but here we are celebrating the season of love. What better way to celebrate than by joining us at Sunday Stamps?!?!

Here is this week's fun sketch:

Here is my take on this week's sketch:

First, I used Your Next Stamps set Hammie- Coffee and Tea.  SQUEAL!  So darn cute!  I stamped, colored and fussy cut the little hammie out.  I mounted it on this scalloped oval.  I used Sahara Sand from SU! as my backdrop and added some strips of DP from Lawn Fawn and Hampton Art.  I love the contrast of the bright strips.  The Heart is from Freckled Fawn the "and" is from a Lawn Fawn set.  Then I added the die cut coffee (also YNS) done in Tempting Turquiose from SU.  I threw it all together and distressed the sides.

Head on over to Sunday Stamps!

Chick Stack & a new challenge!

Hi friends!  Happy day to you!

I have TWO fun cards for you today for TPD Wendesday!

First is a card featuring one of the brand new sets being released this month from TPD, For Peep's Sake!

This set is so stinking adorable.  I love the bunny ear accessories for the chicks!  This was pretty easy to make, I stamped the legs directly on the green and colored them orange.  Then I stamped and paper pieced the chicks and used dimensionals to mount them.  Then I stamped the bunny ears on white and colored them with a little shading and added them to the to chic in my Chick Stack!

Next is a card for the new Two Paper Diva's Challenge!  Woot Woot!  I know all you challenge junkies are gonna come play with us!  Before I share the card, let me share the fabulous sketch.

SO FUN!  I LOVE IT!

I had to use Best Fishes again, I love this set!  So cute and so versatile!  As you noticed I couldn't get away from blue and orange, it is just so perfect for these fishes.   YOUR TURN!

OK, head on over to TPD to see all the DT cards and today AND come join the challenge!

Thanks for stopping!

Fusion- Paper Hearts

Hmmmm, what day is it?  I can't seem to keep them straight in my head this week.  Oh, but I know what day it is, that is why you are here, it is Fusion time!

I love this inspiration, the paper hearts are fun (and wait until you see what the DT did with them!!!!! AWESOME!).  But more than that, I loved the stacked stars in the sketch.  While I didn't adhere to it 100%, I still came close.

I like to think of today's card as my effort to promote diversity and inclusion (yes, my HR side is coming out).  I noticed that I always color my people as white people and while that is all fine and good, I wanted to branch out a little.  But I'll be honest, I was a little scared, afraid I would get the colors right or something, but I think it turned out OK.  What do you think?

So this card features Avery Elle's new Pixie Dust Stamp Set.  Too cute to not own when you have a sweet kiddo.  I had fun using punches to make my various circles.  I didn't think it out too well and had to cut the middle one out by hand due to spacing, but it turned out totally fine.  Next I traced the circles on white so I could plan where to stamp.  I used the two fairies and clouds for the middle.  I colored with my Copics and added glitter to the fairy wings. I was quite pleased with the paper, which was a brand new Sheet from Bo-Bunny, perfect for this occasion.  I stamped the banner stamp form Paper Smooches on my SU! Plum cardstock and cut it out and mounted across the middle circle.

So.... that's all today, thank you for stopping and like I said, you don't want to miss all the ladies creations with this inspiration over at FUSION!

Happy (almost) Friday! :)

TPD- Best Fishes!

Hello and happy HUMP Day to you!  You know from my Sunday post that the weekend's are my fave so I am happy for the week to be halfway over.  BUT, I do love sharing my Two Paper's Divas creations on Wednesday!

The card I have for you this week features one of the January releases for TPD.

Loving this fun set called Best Fishes!  So very cute and so versatile!  You can expect me to be using this set a lot, I guarantee!

For this creation I started with my background and worked my way forward.  I stamped the sentiment in the corner and then added some embossing paste with this Balzar Designs stencil.  I like this effect, because it kinda looks like fish scales. Then I knew I wanted to add this oval for the fishes to sit on.  I stamped my fishes on white and the colored them with my Copics.  I love how they are opposite colors and so bright and fun!  I also stamped the bubbles.  I used my fussy cut scissors to cut them all out (including the bubbles!) and mounted them with dimensionals.  I added some Glossy Accents over the bubbles for that shimmery touch. Ta-dah!  This makes a great guy card!

OK, now head on over to Two Paper Divas blog because it is Design Team Wednesday and there is a lot of fun for the taking!

Thanks for visiting today!

Shake your maracas!

Yep, get em' out and shake em!  RIGHT NOW!  Because it is Kate's Birthday!  Some of the Pacific Northwest Stamping Gals are having a blog hop for her.

Kate is such a unique person.  She is so vibrant, both in her personality and in with her creations.  Her excitement and spirit are contagious!  Being able to know her is an absolute pleasure. So with that, HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATE!

Now let's get this party started!  But don't worry, it's "nacho typical party!" ;)  Case in point:

This card includes a journal card from Fancy Pants (totally reminds me of a Mexican blanket!), up  against some nice tangerine paper from SU!.  It also features stamps from Sweet Stamp Shop (retired sets).  I stamped and cut my images and added some stickles on the rim of the glass for some margarita salt, mounted them on this large circle and included this sentiment  I used the upper alphabet set to stamp "Fiesta" and colored it in so it was solid.  My favorite part is the home pinata like banner across the top, which I made with some tissue paper and secured it with washi across the top.  The sea green really stands out from the orange and black!  I added a few more circles with little accents, including one Freckled Fawn enamel shape.

Now, please go on over the the other ladies blogs to see what they've made for Kate.  If you didn't start from the beginning you can go back to the top of the list as all the blogs are listed below.

Katie (you are here!)

Last but not least, please visit Kate and wish her the happiest of birthdays!

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATE!
